Artist Statement
Kiara Alex Long is a young artist disguised as a biology major at UC Santa Barbara. She paints when she can, because though she enjoys learning about the various functions of organelles and whatnot, she is truly only happy elbow deep (literally) in paint. She does realize that this could be a possibly carcinogenic pastime, but hopes that her body will understand.
